William H. St. Lawrence, DVM
Owner / Veterinarian
After graduating from Colorado State University Dr. St Lawrence practiced in Arizona, Australia, and North Carolina. A biotech position for his wife saw the family move to the Bay Area. While practicing for both the Peninsula Humane Society in Burlingame and All Animals Emergency Clinic in SF he was introduced to Dr. Bill Klein in Portola Valley. After working at Village Square Veterinary Hospital for only a few days Dr. St Lawrence knew this was where he wanted to practice. Dr. Klein agreed to sell and transition the clinic over to Dr. St Lawrence’s care.
In April of 2017, Dr. St Lawrence purchased Woodside Veterinary Clinic due to increased demand and limited space at the Portola Valley Clinic.
We now serve the whole of the Mid Peninsula from Atherton to Portola Valley. It has been a pleasure providing wellness, surgical and dental care to all the wonderful clients and pets throughout the past twenty years.
When not at the clinic Dr. St Lawrence is hanging out with his wife, twin boys cat, Chester, and dog, Dug. In addition, he plays tennis and rock climbs.
